TL;DR

Apollo's annual-billing prices are $49 per seat per month for Basic, $79 for Professional and $119 for Organization. Annual commitments are $588, $948 and $1,428 per seat respectively, with Organization requiring at least three seats ($4,284 per year). Credits fund data access and product actions, with different rules for saved exports, net-new emails, API enrichment and waterfall lookups. Unused credits do not roll over, credit add-ons recur until removed, and cancellation does not generally reduce fees already committed for the term.

1|

Apollo Basic costs $49 per seat per month when billed annually, which means a $588 annual subscription before taxes and extras. Organization requires at least three seats, bringing its minimum annual commitment to $4,284.

2|

The headline subscription is only part of the budget. Saved-contact exports, new email access, phone numbers and waterfall enrichment follow different charging rules. Prices and documentation below were checked on October 26, 2026.

3|

How much does Apollo cost in 2026?

4|

Apollo's paid plans start at $49 per seat per month, billed annually. Professional costs $79 and Organization costs $119 on the same basis. Organization requires at least three seats.

5|

The official pricing page lists these annual-billing offers in US dollars, excluding applicable taxes:

The annual commitments are the published monthly-equivalent rates multiplied by 12. Organization's $4,284 minimum is the three-seat annual subscription before taxes, add-ons or additional credit purchases. It is not a one-seat $119 month-to-month purchase.

8|

Monthly billing has a higher effective monthly cost. Select monthly billing on Apollo's pricing page or review checkout for the current quote. Annual billing means paying for a full year upfront and committing to 12 months.

9|

Which plan is worth paying for?

10|

Choose the lowest tier that supports the team's required workflow, then check whether its credits cover the actions you actually use. Apollo requires all seats in an account to be on the same plan, so a feature needed by some users can affect the subscription cost for everyone.

11|

Free and Basic: testing versus regular outbound

12|

Free is useful for assessing the database and trying a limited outreach workflow. It includes two sequences and 900 credits per seat per year, distributed monthly rather than available as an annual balance.

13|

Basic removes the two-sequence restriction and adds advanced filters, CRM integrations, enrichment and five automated workflows. Its public card includes six intent topics and 150 call-recording minutes. For regular outbound without advanced testing or substantial automation, this is the first paid tier to evaluate.

14|

Check the CRM sync and mailbox allowance before choosing Basic. Unlimited sequences do not remove data charges or add mailbox connections.

15|

Professional: testing, mailboxes and automation

16|

Professional adds A/Z testing, raises automated workflows to 50, and lists 4,000 recording minutes. Its mailbox allowance includes unlimited Google and Microsoft connections plus five SMTP mailboxes, versus one mailbox on Free and Basic.

17|

Additional Basic credits will not unlock more mailbox connections or sequence testing. If credit volume is the only constraint, compare an add-on quote with upgrading before choosing Professional.

18|

Apollo labels daily sending as unlimited on Professional and Organization, but this remains subject to fair use and email-provider restrictions. Treat it as a platform allowance, not a deliverability guarantee.

19|

Organization and Custom are different offers

20|

Organization is a public, priced tier with a three-seat minimum. It raises allowances to 72,000 annual credits per seat, 500 workflows, 12 intent topics and 8,000 recording minutes. Its mailbox allowance includes unlimited Google and Microsoft connections plus 15 SMTP mailboxes.

21|

Custom is separately described in Apollo's pricing FAQ for custom volumes, SSO, advanced security and dedicated support. Do not assume that buying Organization automatically includes SSO. If procurement requires it, have Apollo specify the security features and commercial terms in the quote.

22|

What do Apollo credits pay for?

23|

Credits pay for data and certain product actions, not just a count of prospects. A contact email, phone number, AI research run and connected call can each use credits differently.

24|

Apollo's credit explainer gives the standard data-access rates:

25|

Action

Published credit cost

Access a contact's verified email

1 credit per contact, including personal email, business email or both

Access a verified phone number

8 credits per number

Export already-saved contacts to CSV

0 credits under the documented saved-contact export flow

Save and export a net-new person with a verified email

1 credit per person

Run AI research

1 credit per run on the public pricing page

Make a connected US dialer call

1 credit per 30 seconds on the public pricing page

26|

For calling, Apollo's usage documentation counts connections to a person, voicemail or an answering machine. It applies a 30-second minimum and rounds longer calls up to the next 30-second increment. Ringouts, busy signals, failed calls and canceled calls use zero credits. International rates vary; check the account's About Credits screen before budgeting calls.

27|

Credits are generally pooled across the team, allowing users to draw from the account's shared allowance. However, legacy configurations can have different API or export charges, and waterfall email and mobile can use separate balances. Use the rates and balances shown for your workspace rather than assuming every action draws from one interchangeable pool.

28|

Exporting a saved record is not buying new data

29|

Apollo's CSV export guide explicitly says that exporting saved contacts does not use credits. When you select net-new people from search, Apollo saves them first; each net-new person with a verified email uses one credit.

30|

Moving a saved contact into another system is not automatically another email purchase. It also does not automatically enrich missing emails or mobile numbers. Check enrichment and selected CSV fields separately if the file is incomplete.

31|

Record selection limits are another separate constraint. They control how many records you can select in one action, not your total annual export entitlement. Do not treat a selection limit as an included quantity of newly purchased contacts.

32|

API and waterfall enrichment need their own budget

33|

Apollo does not charge the same amount for every API request. Its API pricing documentation says record-management endpoints generally consume zero credits, while charged endpoints depend on the data returned and the charging unit.

34|

People enrichment is listed at 1 to 9 credits per person when chargeable data is found: one credit for demographics/email, plus eight if a mobile number is returned. The demographic charge also depends on match confidence. Organization enrichment costs one credit per organization; organization search costs one credit per page, with up to 100 results per page.

35|

Waterfall enrichment can cost considerably more. Apollo documents typical email waterfall usage of 1 to 4 credits, with some configurations or higher-cost matches reaching 20 or more. Phone waterfall usage is typically 8 to 25 credits, with some configurations reaching 45 or more. Some vendors charge per lookup even when no data is found.

36|

That is why the pricing page's generic enrichment range of 1 to 8 credits should not become a universal ceiling in a budget. Identify the endpoint and requested data, test a small request, then inspect actual credit usage before scaling the job.

37|

The same distinction applies to AI Assistant tasks: submitting a message and polling are not themselves charged, but actions performed by the Assistant can consume credits. There is no fixed per-task tariff. API access also appears on the Free card, so it is not accurate to describe all API use as Custom-only; confirm the endpoints and rate limits your integration needs.

38|

When do credits expire, and what do extras cost?

39|

Unused credits expire at the end of the applicable billing cycle and do not roll over. Annual paid plans receive their annual allowance upfront. Apollo's credit rules also describe quarterly or semiannual releases where an annual agreement uses those billing schedules. Expiry is not universally monthly.

40|

Additional credits are a recurring purchase, not necessarily a one-time top-up. Apollo says they are charged immediately and renew each cycle until removed. The plan-management guide says reductions or removals take effect at the start of the next cycle. Purchased credits also expire without rollover.

41|

Get the add-on price from the subscription preview. Dividing the subscription fee by included credits does not reveal the price Apollo will charge for additional credits: the subscription also buys software access and features.

42|

Feature add-ons are separate budget items. Apollo's public page lists Advanced Dialer at $119 per team per month, billed annually, with international, parallel and power dialing plus local presence. Inbound lists Essentials at $119 and Max at $639 per team per month, billed annually. These are presented as introductory prices, so confirm both the renewal price and the allowances for the specific package you select.

43|

Cancellation does not erase the commitment

44|

Requesting a plan change, losing feature access and reducing contractual fees are different events. Apollo's plan-management documentation says a downgrade removes higher-tier features immediately and does not count as cancellation. Cancellation is scheduled for the end of the current billing cycle.

45|

The Terms of Service, Section 4, set the fee commitment. Unless an Order Form expressly provides otherwise, subscription fees are noncancelable, nonrefundable and cannot decrease during the term. Seat counts cannot decrease during the term either. An operational downgrade should therefore not be treated as an immediate reduction in the amount owed.

46|

The standard terms also require written nonrenewal notice at least 30 days before term-end; otherwise, the subscription renews for a period equal to the expiring term. Notice can be submitted through account settings where available or through support. Record the deadline when purchasing, not when the renewal invoice arrives.

47|

Switching annual billing to monthly requires waiting for the annual plan to expire. Do not use the pricing page's “cancel anytime” language as a basis for expecting a midyear refund or release from committed fees. Check your Order Form for expressly different terms.

48|

What to check before approving the purchase

49|

  1. Name the feature that determines the tier. Confirm mailbox connections, testing, workflows, recording and security requirements before applying that tier across the account.

  2. Confirm the cash commitment. Save the seat count, billing schedule, taxes, add-on prices and price breakdown, not just the monthly-equivalent headline.

  3. Test the intended data workflow. Distinguish saved-contact exports from net-new email access, and test API or waterfall enrichment separately.

  4. Assign usage and renewal ownership. In Settings > Credits & activity > Credit usage, review consumption by date, user, feature and surface. Track recurring extras and the written nonrenewal deadline.

50|

Admins can review the purchase under Settings > Plan & billing > Plan overview > Manage Subscription, then select See Price Breakdown before confirming. Sales-assisted accounts should work with Apollo's sales team on changes.

51|

Finally, standard plans are for internal business use. Buying credits does not authorize data resale or using Apollo data to power external customer products; those uses require a separate agreement.

52|

Frequently asked questions

53|

Is Apollo free?

54|

Yes. Apollo lists a $0 plan with 900 credits per seat per year, granted monthly, and two sequences. It is useful for evaluation and light usage, but it does not include the paid tiers' feature and credit allowances.

55|

What is Apollo's cheapest paid plan?

56|

Basic is the lowest-priced public paid tier at $49 per seat per month, billed annually. That is $588 per seat for the year before taxes and extras. Monthly billing costs more; check the current monthly quote on Apollo's pricing page or at checkout.

57|

Does Apollo charge credits every time I export contacts?

58|

No. Apollo's CSV guide says exporting saved contacts uses zero credits. Selecting net-new people from search causes Apollo to save them first, charging one credit for each net-new person with a verified email. Exporting existing records does not automatically enrich missing data.

59|

Do unused Apollo credits roll over?

60|

No. Included and purchased add-on credits expire at the end of the applicable billing cycle. Paid annual allowances are granted upfront, while Free credits are granted monthly.

61|

Does Organization include SSO?

62|

Do not assume it does. Apollo separately describes Custom plans for SSO, advanced security, custom volumes and dedicated support. Confirm the required security capabilities in your quote or Order Form before purchasing.

63|

Can I cancel an annual Apollo plan and stop paying immediately?

64|

Not under the standard fee terms. Annual billing is a 12-month commitment, and cancellation does not create a general right to a refund or reduced fees during the term. Check your Order Form and submit written nonrenewal notice at least 30 days before term-end under Apollo's standard terms.
